Wahiawa General Hospital Settles Lawsuit

Wahiawa General Hospital will have to pay more than $451,000 to settle two lawsuits brought by a whistleblower saying the hospital allegedly billed the Medicare program, the State of Hawaii Medicaid program and TRICARE program for military dependents. The whistleblower was a doctor who worked at the Physicians Center at Mililani, an out-patient clinic operated by Wahiawa General Hospital.
