USS Arizona Memorial Re-opens

The Arizona Memorial reopened at 7 a.m. Friday after 16 days of closures caused by the shutdown of the federal government.  And, before the doors to the World War II Valor in the Pacific National Monument visitors center opened, there were long lines of visitors, eager to get in. During the shutdown, 35 workers were furloughed.  They reported back to work Thursday to get the memorial ready for Friday's re-opening.
