Police Agree to Change in Prostitution Law

The Honolulu Police Department is reportedly agreeing to a change in the state’s controversial prostitution law. State Senator Clayton Hee met with police officials behind closed doors. He says the officials agreed that an exemption in the law that allows undercover officers to have sex with prostitutes should no longer be allowed. Hee chairs the Senate Judiciary and Labor Committee, which will be making a decision about changes to the law.
