New Color Coded grading system for restaurants

State health officials are considering a new color-coded grading system for food safety inspections of eateries. West Hawaii Today reported yesterday the state health department is proposing posting green, yellow and red placards in restaurants and other establishments. Green cards would go to facilities that have one major violation and red would signify imminent health hazards.
