Police believe speed and alcohol were factors in a two-car crash in Honokai Hale, that killed a 26-year-old man last night. The crash happened at about 9 p.m. near Laaloa Street. A white Honda, driven by the 26-year-old man was westbound, when it clipped another car, crossed over the center line and was struck by a pickup truck. The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital, where he died. The driver of the pickup - a 50-year-old man - was taken to a hospital in good condition and the 30-year-old woman driving the car that was clipped was not hurt. Police closed the highway while they investigated. It was reopened just after midnight.
